SUMMARY:2023 ITF of B.C. Provincials
DESCRIPTION:On March 4\, 2023\, ITF Taekwon-Do schools from all over British Columbia participated at the 2023 ITF of BC Provincial Taekwon-Do championships. Hosted in the beautiful city of Burnaby\, BC (The City of Parks)\, the event was the first Provincial Championships in BC after the Covid Pandemic halted all competitions in the country in 2020. \nA total of 188 athletes from 11 schools descended on the lower mainland to vie for a chance to be called a BC Taekwon-Do Champion. Included in this year’s events are the heart warming Adapted (Special Needs) Taekwon-Do Divisions which highlighted the skills of our students with disabilities. Championed by Mr. Andaya and his family for over 10 years\, this is the first time the Adapted divisions became an actual competition instead of just an exhibition. \nThe host Mr. Darius Andaya\, VI degree of DSA Taekwon-Do\, would like to thank all the instructors\, officials\, volunteers\, sponsors\, parents and athletes who made the success of this event possible. Congratulations to everyone! Don’t forget: We win or we learn!
